Cardiac Arrhythmia Center

The UCLA Cardiac Arrhythmia Center offers one of the most comprehensive programs in the United States to treat complex arrhythmias. Our arrhythmia clinic provides patients of all age groups with the most advanced procedures for diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias. The Center’s multidisciplinary team includes electrophysiologists—- cardiologists that have additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.

We work in collaboration with other specialized centers at UCLA including the Ahmanson UCLA Cardiomyopathy Center (the largest heart failure program in the western U.S.), cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and adult congenital heart disease programs to offer the best care to our patients. We offer a full range of the newest pacemaker and cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) devices to provide individualized treatment for many irregular heart rhythms.

Categorizing
  • <Content> Type - defines a sub-type of a specific content type. Example: An Article, by default, can be sub-typed as article, news, or blog. You can delete, add, or modify this list in the Taxonomy section.
  • Page Category - allows you to associate pages by Category. Such categories can provide a top-level association that forms a collection of related content by content type. Example: News Articles could have categories for university news, student life, health and medicine, nature and science.
  • Tags - a field that allows you to add new tags on-the-fly which are then added to the overall Tags list in your Taxonomy section. You can also access existing tags by typing their names and using the auto-complete feature built into the field. Like the other two category feature types, you can also manually work on your Tags list through the Taxonomy section.
